More DU colleges to have BBS course

The bright future aspects of the BBS course has led to the annex of this course in more DU colleges, informs Pragya Rashmi.

If present list of courses offered by DU seems boring to you, here is some good news. DU has introduced BBS course in two more colleges. Initially only College of Business Studies had this course.

From the last year Keshav Mahavidyalaya and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya are running this course, which is one of the sought after professional courses in DU.

The notification for the entrance test of this course is already out, which is the only criterion for the admission to the course.

"There is not much difference between BBA and BBS, but BBS is more updated and focused to the latest trends. It is somewhat like MBS course offered abroad but at graduation level" says Shikha Arora, a student of BBS in Keshav Mahavidyalaya.

It seems it is the raising demand and bright future aspects of this course has led to the annex of this course in more DU colleges. Students are giving it preference over BBA because of its more centralised and future oriented course structure and the value of degree that DU offers them.

"It always feels nice to stand out of the crowd, here at DU the kind of exposure and placements we get is simply out of the world" adds Shikha.
