NGO to remove black films from cars

Delhi-based NGO Jagruk Nagrik Suraksha Sanghthan (JNSS) will conduct an audit exercise in partnership with the Delhi Police on Friday and Saturday, to check buses and cars plying with sun films on their windows.

Delhi-based NGO Jagruk Nagrik Suraksha Sanghthan (JNSS) will conduct an audit exercise in partnership with the Delhi Police on Friday and Saturday, to check buses and cars plying with sun films on their windows.

The drive will start at 11am and continue till 4 pm on both days. "During the drive, we will stop vehicles fitted with sun films at two places in south Delhi -- one near the Hauz Khas metro station and the other near the Chattarpur metro station and remove films from windows," said Ayush Jain, a JNSS spokesperson.

The NGO will conduct the drive for two days every month at different locations in Delhi. The Delhi Police will put up barricades at these locations.
