NHRC notice to Delhi Govt

The NHRC took suo-motu cognisance of “distressing media reports” alleging that HIV-infected blood was transfused to a 13-year-old boy at GTB hospital and issued a notice to the Delhi Government.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Friday took suo-motu cognisance of “distressing media reports” alleging that HIV-infected blood was transfused to a 13-year-old boy at GTB hospital and issued a notice to the Delhi Government.

The boy was being treated for lung cancer.
