Moninder Singh Pandher, who is presently lodged at the Dasna district prison in Ghaziabad for his involvement in the Nithari serial killings of Noida, was rushed to the district MMG Hospital on Monday evening after he fainted inside the prison.

Dasna prison superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma told the Hindustan Times that Pandher complained of low blood sugar levels and fainted at the Dasna prison hospital, where he was admitted two-and-a- half months ago for treatment. “He is taking two insulin injections per day as part of his treatment. He was rushed to the MMG Government hospital, where he is under treatment and showing signs of recovery,” Sharma said.
A JCB businessman based at Noida, Pandher and his domestic help Surinder Koli were arrested in December 2009.
