No bail for ‘hijack’ Mohla
A city court on Saturday dismissed the bail plea of Jitender Mohla, the man who caused a hijack scare aboard the IndiGo Airlines Goa-Delhi flight last Sunday, reports Sumit Saxena.

A city court on Saturday dismissed the bail plea of Jitender Mohla, the man who caused a hijack scare aboard the IndiGo Airlines Goa-Delhi flight last Sunday.
The prosecution had opposed the bail on the ground that Mohla could influence witnesses and try to alter the course of the probe.
However, the defence contended that the crew had mishandled the situation and raised a hijack alarm. “He is being made a scapegoat by the police to cover up the false hijack alarm,” defence counsel Sharat Kapoor alleged.
Mohla is in judicial custody till February 16.
