“No information was received from Pakistan related to Headley-Rana case. Pakistan has not shared any information with us so far,” he told reporters in New Delhi.

Rana is a Pakistani-origin Canadian citizen while Rana’s father was a Pakistani citizen. Both of them stayed for a long period in the neighbouring country.

Chidambaram said a team of FBI, which arrested Headley and Rana for plotting terror attacks, will arrive in India next week to share information about the probe carried out by the American investigators on the terror suspect duo.

Asked whether he was satisfied with the investigations carried out by Indian agencies, the Home Minister said “yes. A large number of investigators are out on the field probing every lead of that we have been able to get and probe is progressing quite satisfactorily”.
