However, Delhi Metro made arrangements of feeder bus service for the affected passengers and offered the services free of cost. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officials said: “We had to suspend Metro service between Dwarka and Dwarka 9 stations due to signaling and integration testing on the stretch. The stretch is going to be extended to Dwarka 21 station.”

Metro officials said they chose the non-peak hour for the technical upgradation process since footfall in the afternoon on the stretch is verylow.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety inspected the stretch between Dwarka 9 and Dwarka 21 on Wednesday and it is expected to be operational soon.
