“The discoms in Delhi are now competing with each other to provide the best possible services to their respective customers,” Dikshit said. She was speaking on the sidelines of a two-day national seminar on power sector reforms-retrospect, realities and prospects, in the Capital.

Dikshit said the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission and Public Grievance Committee have been put to vouch safe interests of the customers. Providing relief in rates to customers whose consumption is limited has gone a long way in power conservation.

There will be no shortage of power during Commmonwealth Games and thereafter, assured the CM.
