No relief from heat and humidity: Met dept

Delhi witnessed a hot and sunny day on Thursday with the maximum temper-ature at 34.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The weather will be similar on Friday, the Met office has predicted.

The minimum temperature settled at 23.3 degrees, one notch above average,” said an official of the Met Department.The humidity wavered between a high of 88 and low of 48%.

“The sky will remain clear on Friday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 23 degrees, respectively,” the official added.
