For BA programme, Hansraj College has the highest cut-off of 81%, followed by Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce with 80%, both in the general category. For B.Com, the highest cut-off again was from Hansraj College with 82% followed by Bharati College with 80%.

The admission procedure will begin on June 24.

Aarti Sharma, director, NCWEB, said they are aware of the fact that the board was a back-up option for many students.

“I know that students often withdraw their admission if they secure admission in a regular college. A second cut-off list is definitely expected,” she said.

NCWEB offers two undergraduate courses: BA programme and B.Com, exclusively for women. However, only students staying in National Capital Territory (NCT) can enroll themselves under this board.

It is a popular choice for those girl students who want to work and continue with their studies or are unable to secure admission in a regular college.

This year, over 22,000 applications were received.

For both the courses, classes are held only on weekends. There are 50 teaching days in an academic session.

There are 184 seats in B.Com and 277 seats for BA programme at each of the board’s 13 teaching centres across the Capital. A second cut-off list is likely to be made public on July 5.
