"India is one country and it is the constitutional right of its citizens to go to any state and settle there," Gadkari said in a statement here.

The BJP President said he had not made any remarks about migrant population settling in big cities and termed as "misleading" reports attributing comments on the issue to him in a section of the media.

Gadkari was referring to his interaction with reporters yesterday after meeting leaders of the party's state unit here.
