Nupur Talwar seeks review of SC order

Nupur Talwar, mother of murdered teenager Aarushi, has moved the Supreme Court, seeking review of its earlier order upholding the trial court judgment summoning her as accused in her daughter and domestic help's murder.

In a rare order, the SC bench of Justices AK Patnaik and JH Khehar has agreed to hold an open court hearing on Nupur's review petition.

On January 6, the same bench had dismissed Nupur's petition challenging the March 18, 2011 Allahabad High Court order that held the summoning order against the Talwars as correct. Since then the trial against the two has remained suspended.

The apex court had immediately stayed the proceedings before the trial court.
