All the BJP MLAs criticised the speaker Yoganand Shastri for allowing Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit to make a statement in the House rebutting allegations of corruption in Commonwealth Games projects after the Opposition was disallowed a discussion on the issue.

As Dikshit started reading her statement rejecting allegations of CWG graft, BJP MLAs stood up and objected strongly to it, arguing that the speaker had rejected their demand for a discussion on the issue on Tuesday.

The Opposition had stalled the proceedings of the House on Tuesday, too, demanding a discussion into allegations of corruption against Dikshit in the wake of a court holding as ‘maintainable’ a complaint against her in a CWG graft case.

However, the speaker had turned down the demand on the ground that the matter was sub-judice.

BJP MLAs continued their protest by shouting slogans.
