Over 25 flights delayed due to fog

Over 25 flights have been delayed and three diverted to various destinations due to heavy fog at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

Over 25 flights were delayed and three were diverted to various destinations due to heavy fog at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Thursday morning.

Most of the in coming flights got delayed by over two to three hours due to the foggy conditions at the airport. Outgoing flights were also delayed by up to two hours, airport sources said.

The fog enveloped the airport this morning that led to the delay, which resulted in a long wait for the relatives who were waiting for the passengers at the airport.
