“We have sent the High Court’s communication and the statements of the four witnesses to Pakistan for submission before a Rawalipindi court as desired by them,” a home ministry official said on Tuesday.

The Rawalpindi court is trying seven people including LeT’s operations commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi for planning, financing and executing the attacks that killed 166 people in November 2008.

The official said it was now up to Pakistan to indicate a set of possible dates for travelling to India.

The findings of the first Pakistani judicial commission were rejected by an anti-terrorism court in Pakistan as the panel’s members were not allowed to cross-examine the Indian witnesses.
