The maximum temperature was also two points above normal at 26 degrees Celsius.

The Weathermen said as there is no disturbance in the weather system, sky would remain clear on Friday as well in the next few days and maximum temperature is predicted to rise though mornings will be misty.

The maximum temperature tomorrow is expected to touch 28 degree Celsius against Wednesday's 25 degree Celsius, while the minimum has been predicted to settle at 13 degrees Celsius against 12 degree Celsius recorded the previous day, the Met office said.
