The maximum temperature was recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year, while the minimum was 24.8 degrees Celsius, a degree below normal, the MeT office said.

The humidity level oscillated between 67% and 97%.

The Met office has predicted a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.

The temperatures will range between 34 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.
