PM, Sonia hold talks with allies ahead of monsoon session
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi today held parleys with UPA allies ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament beginning on July 26.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi on Monday held parleys with UPA allies ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament beginning on July 26.
The meeting comes in the backdrop of Opposition's near total unity against fuel price hike and rising prices of food items. Opposition parties have planned to corner the government on both the issues in Parliament.
Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister P Chidambaram, Civil Aviation Minister and senior NCP leader Praful Patel, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, DMK leader T R Baalu were among others who attended the meet.
