Police medals to 717 personnel
The government today announced police medals, including President's police medals for gallantry and distinguished services, to 717 personnel on the occasion of the Independence Day this year.

The government on Saturday announced police medals, including President's police medals for gallantry and distinguished services, to 717 personnel on the occasion of the Independence Day this year.
President's Police Medals for gallantry have been awarded to three personnel, Police Medals for gallantry to 141 personnel and President's Police Medals for distinguished service to 60 personnel.
Police Medals for meritorious service have been awarded to 513 personnel and Correctional Medal for meritorious service given to 20 personnel across the country.
