A police team from Haridwar raided several places in the district on Sunday to nab a woman, who has been absconding since the body of her husband was found from a hotel in Haridwar on April 23.

A police team from Haridwar raided several places in the district on Sunday to nab a woman, who has been absconding since the body of her husband was found from a hotel in Haridwar on April 23.

The couple had registered themselves as Uday Pandit and Enku Singh from New Delhi in Himalayas Hotel, in Cantonment area of Haridwar on April 21, said police.

On the night of April 22, the woman went out on the pretext of purchasing medicine and did not return. Police said the deceased was one Vedpal, who had an address in Ghaziabad.
