“You should not go on a strike at this critical juncture. It is a question of your revival. Strike will send wrong signals to passengers,” Patel told reporters in New Delhi.

He said the Air India management has been holding discussions and will continue with the exercise to find an amicable solution.

The salary payment to Air India employees was delayed in June and the airlines top management has been asked to forego July salary.
