“Delhi will experience partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundershowers in some areas towards the evening. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius,” said the official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The minimum temperature was 28.8 degrees, two notches above average for this time of the season.

The humidity settled at a high of 88 per cent.

Traces of rain were recorded in Delhi on Friday. The capital received 28.4 mm of rainfall since Tuesday, taking the total this season to 223.1 mm, 15 per cent more than the average.
