Delhiites experienced another hot day on Tuesday as mercury and humidity were on a high in the city, but the weatherman predicted relief for Wednesday as temperature could fall after some rains.

Delhiites experienced another hot day on Tuesday as mercury and humidity were on a high in the city, but the weatherman predicted relief for Wednesday as temperature could fall after some rains.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 41.5 deg C, two degrees above normal, while the minimum settled at 27.6 deg C, up from yesterday's 26.3 deg C and normal for this time.

"The skies could be partly cloudy and there could be rains or thundershowers accompanied with squall in some areas,” a MeT official said.
