Lilothia runs a successful business in security devices.

Education: An English graduate from Hansraj College, Lilothia has done his masters in Disaster Mitiga- tion. He is currently writing his Ph.D thesis on Sustainable Development of Delhi.

Political Career: Lilothia walked the ramp and started modelling for print advertisements during his college days. Instead of a natural progression towards tinsel town, he jumped into politics. “Rajiv Gandhi has been my inspiration and his vision for India motivated me to do something for this society,” he said. He joined the Congress in 1987-88.

Family: His wife Madhu is an airhostess with Air India. They have a daughter and a son. Lilothia runs a foundation for senior citizens. “I believe the way to success is hard work and respect to parents and elders,” he said.

Cars: Lilothia’s fleet of cars include a Toyota Innova and a Maruti Esteem but he prefers travelling in his official Ambassador.
