"The BJP National Council will pass two resolutions relating to price rise, and internal and national security. The meet will also discuss political, social and economic issues facing the country and the anti-people policies of the government," party Vice-President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

He said a special mention is likely to be made about the Ranganath Commission report, which recommended 10 per cent quota for Muslims in government jobs and the crucial issue of climate change in the wake of the recent Copenhagen Summit.

At the three-day event, the issue of amending the party constitution to increase the term of party president from the present three to five years is also likely to figure.

Naqvi said a decision on future agitational programmes against the government will also be taken in the conclave to be attended by around 5,000 delegates and leaders.

"Issues related to organisation and reporting on state elections which have taken place and polls in the near future will also be taken up," he added.
