Resurfacing on DND begins

Traffic on the DND Flyway from Delhi to Noida had to be diverted on Saturday on its 1.5 kilometre stretch, which is being resurfaced. However, the vehicular movement did not get affected as it was the weekend. HT reports.

Traffic on the DND Flyway from Delhi to Noida had to be diverted on Saturday on its 1.5 kilometre stretch, which is being resurfaced. However, the vehicular movement did not get affected as it was the weekend.

The 1.5 kilometre stretch has been closed for seven days and the traffic has been diverted on two lanes of Noida-Delhi route. Nearly two dozen additional traffic marshals will be deployed on the two lanes for guiding the motorists.

"We have diverted the traffic are taking steps to ensure smooth movement of vehicles. We have chalked out a plan to avoid traffic snarls during peak hours," said Anwar Abbasi, spokesperson of DND Flyway.
