A mock bomb blast was carried out at the M-Block market in Greater Kailash-I this afternoon as part of the security drill, a senior police official said.

A similar exercise was carried out at the Cross River Mall in Karkadooma later in the day.

"This is part of a security drill to check the effectiveness of the response system in case of a bomb blast in the city," the official said.

A similar exercise was conducted at the V3S Mall in east Delhi's Laxmi Nagar on Thursday.

Three days ago, security drills were conducted at Batra cinema hall in Mukherjee and Gurunanak Market in Gandhi Nagar.

On October six, similar exercises were carried out in DDA Mall of west Delhi's Rajouri Garden and in Chun-Mun showroom in Central Market Lajpat Nagar.
