Security was on Thursday stepped up in the national capital in the wake of terror attacks in Mumbai.

Security was tonight stepped up in the national capital in the wake of terror attacks in Mumbai.

"Police personnel have been put on alert and have been asked to keep a strict vigil," a senior police officer said.

The police officer said that all precautions have been taken to prevent any untoward incident in the city and asked the people not to panic.
