Sonia Gandhi returns to Delhi after surgery
Sonia Gandhi was back in Delhi on Thursday, more than a month after undergoing surgery abroad for an undisclosed ailment on August 4.

Sonia Gandhi was back in Delhi on Thursday, more than a month after undergoing surgery abroad for an undisclosed ailment on August 4.
“The Congress president returned early today and is fine,” party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said.
Congress sources said Gandhi, 64, would need about a month to fully recuperate. During this time, Dwivedi, AK Antony, Rahul Gandhi and Ahmed Patel are expected to continue to take care of party affairs.
On her return, Gandhi — reportedly accompanied by daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra — expressed sorrow over the high court blast and thanked all those who wished her a quick recovery. Video
