St Stephen’s College is a Church of North India institution and the holding of the GB meeting at the office of the Bishop of Delhi is not at all improper.

Responding to the criticism about the appointment of Nirmal Andrews as treasurer he said, Andrews apart from being a distinguished alumnus of the college and has been on the GB and SC for over a year.

He was unanimously selected as treasurer in accordance with the college constitution by the GB.
