TDP blames Congress, Chidambaram for situation in AP
The Telugu Desam Party on Friday criticised Home Minister P Chidambaram for his reported statement that the party was responsible for the present crisis in Andhra Pradesh on the Telangana issue.

The Telugu Desam Party on Friday criticised Home Minister P Chidambaram for his reported statement that the party was responsible for the present crisis in Andhra Pradesh on the Telangana issue.
"This is a deliberate and calculated attempt by the Minister to cover up his party's failure in creating ruckus in the state," the TDP said in a statement.
It said Chidambaram and the Congress "are solely responsible for the present state of affairs in Andhra Pradesh.
It is to be noted that it was his own party MPs and MLAs who took the lead in tendering resignations.
"It clearly highlights utter lack of preparation by the Congress party and the government in delcaring the decision," the statement said.
