The most sought-after freshers’ party in town — HT City Fresh On Campus — reached Manav Rachna International University

Regional Haryanvi music lifted the mood of the crowd at HT City’s Fresh on Campus party at Manav Rachna International University in Faridabad. It was the style quotient of the girls who participated in the Diva of the Day contest that took the crowd by storm. Ten girls were randomly selected to contest for the title. After three rounds of introduction, talent and Q&A, Simran Grover, a first year student of Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication, was declared the winner.

For the boys, the Tata Nano Coolest fresher competition was an event to look forward to. After shaking a leg on peppy numbers, Ricky Biswas, a first year student of Bachelors of Technology, was announced the winner. The surprise element of the party was RJ Sufi of Fever 104FM, who took on the stage and indulged in a brief chit-chat session with the crowd. Not just the participants but the freshers in the crowd were also seen enjoying the party as DJ Sumit Sethi entertained them with his quick wit. The event concluded with a jam session where students danced to Bollywood and Haryanvi numbers played by DJ Mukul Vohra.
