Human skeletal remains found here in December 2006 led to the arrest of owner Moninder Singh Pandher and his servant Surindra Koli.

“Have more skulls been recovered from the house,” asked one of the residents when a PCR van and Nithari police chowki incharge Umesh Yadav reached the spot at 11.30am on Sunday.

After police managed to get inside the locked house, one of the rooms was found ransacked. One air conditioner was found missing.

As families of Nithari victims had tried to set the house ablaze on several occasions, Noida police had set up a security camp outside the house where 3 to 6 policemen were posted.

Few months ago, the camp was removed as there was no threat of damage. BK Srivastava, deputy superintendent of police, said, “All documents and evidence were already collected by CBI. Both accused have been convicted while some cases still remain pending.”
