Three killed in accidents across NCR

Fog and negligent driving claimed the life of a businessman on Friday night in South Extension in south Delhi, said police, reports HT Correspondent.

Due to low visibility, Veeru (27) lost control over his speeding vehicle on the South Ex flyover and hitting the divider, crossed over to the other way and crashed into a Honda City car, said police.

The driver of the Honda City, Arjun (20) who is an engineering student at a south Delhi college, was also injured.

Both were taken to AIIMS where Veeru was declared brought dead while Arjun’s condition was said to be stable.

In another fog-related incident, a Santro car hit a motorcycle near Sri Fort Auditorium at Hauz Khas in south Delhi on Saturday. No one was injured critically. Police are looking for the driver of the car who abandoned his vehicle and escaped.

Two killed on NH 24

A young couple was killed in a fog-related accident on NH-24 in Ghaziabad, police said.

The couple was found dead on the road near Dundahera, on Saturday, said police. The bodies of Brijesh Singh (23) and Bharti Kumar (21) were found near their bike which had met with an accident with an unknown vehicle, police said.

They belonged to Bulandshahr district of UP and were traveling to Ghaziabad.
