Pramod, a resident of Nayak Mohalla in Bijwasan, was crossing the tracks on his motorcycle when the accident took place, a railway police officer said. After the accident, Pramod’s relatives stormed the station and roughed up station manager Ganga Ram and the booking clerk. A case of rioting has been registered against them.

“Pramod was on his way from Bijwasan to Chhawla and was crossing the tracks when the Garib Rath Express hit his motorcycle. The impact was such that Pramod was thrown meters away from his bike. Because of the impact of the hit, he suffered severe injuries and died on the spot,” said the officer.

The body of a 42-year-old woman was found on the railway tracks in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri. The police said Sunita, a private teacher, was hit by a train.

Nihal Singh, middle-aged man, died after he was hit by the New Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani Express while he was crossing the tracks near the Tikal Bridge station around 2.30pm on Saturday.
