Twitterati divided on Harvard vs Swamy issue

After Harvard University dumped former union minister and Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy from its 2012 summer school faculty, Hindustan Times asks its followers on Twitter whether Harvard has violated Swamy's right of speech.

Swamy was dropped after protests from teachers and students over an allegedly anti-Muslim opinion article Swamy wrote for an Indian newspaper earlier this year.

Twitterati gave their views and the views were divided on the issue.

Few believed that it was right to dump him because of his inflammatory article while othere were of the opinion that Harvard has shown double standards.
