Two held for running fake degree racket

Delhi police have arrested two men for running a fake degree racket and recovered fake degrees of MBA, B.Tech, BBA, BCA and disaster management courses of various universities from them.

Delhi police have arrested two men for running a fake degree racket and recovered fake degrees of MBA, B.Tech, BBA, BCA and disaster management courses of various universities from them.

The police have also found fake marksheets, rubber stamps of various government institutions and said the gang used to charge Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000 for such certificates from their base in Mayur Vihar.

Identified as Rameshwar Singh and Praveen KK, they were arrested from Mayur Vihar phase III and Khoda Colony in Ghaziabad. The gang also used to contact students standing outside the office of Human Resource and Development ministry to get their documents verified.
