Two more AAP MLAs to be arrested today, tweets Ashutosh
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh has alleged that Delhi Police will soon arrest two more party MLAs by Thursday evening.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member Ashutosh has alleged that Delhi Police will soon arrest two more party MLAs by Thursday evening.

“Delhi Police is going to arrest two more AAP MLAs today (Thursday). Sharad Chauhan and Rakhi Bidlan in the line,” Ashutosh tweeted in the morning.
Another tweet followed where he said that the AAP legislator from Narela, Sharad Chauhan, was interrogated by the police on Wednesday for more than nine hours in the alleged suicide of party worker Soni and was asked to take names of any senior leaders or he would suffer.
Delhi Police, however, denied charges of any summons being issued to the AAP MLAs.
“No arrest has been made or are likely to be made. We did receive a complaint against Mangolpuri MLA Rakhi Bidlan but the charges did not amount to any criminal case,” said a senior police official.
Ashutosh’s remarks came after the Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Wednesday questioned Chauhan.
Soni, a party worker had committed suicide on July 19, alleging harassment by an AAP party worker Ramesh Wadhwa. In her complaint, she also alleged that Wadhwa asked for sexual favours.
Wadhwa was arrested on Wednesday by the police.
The police had registered a case against Wadhwa on June 2 and arrested him a day after. He, however, got bail the next day and also got a court stay on his arrest.
“I don’t know who is floating such baseless rumors,” the official said.
