In two separate incidents of robbery in less than 12 hours, one businessman was shot at and another injured in the Capital by motorcycle-borne men.

In both cases, the assailants were carrying firearms.
In the first incident, which took place in south-east Delhi, a 50-year-old businessman was shot at by four unidentified men, when he resisted a robbery attempt.
According to police, the incident happened in New Friends Colony when unidentified assailants attacked the two businessmen brothers. One of them received a bullet injury in the incident.
Police said that the incident happened around 11:30 pm on Sunday. The brothers were returning from their shop in separate two wheelers.
The victim, Mahavir Aggarwal, and his brother Mahender (45), owns the Aggarwal General Stores in the area.
“Mahavir was stopped by the four men first; they tried to snatch a bag containing cash worth Rs 15-20,000. Mahender, who was behind his brother, also reached the spot and tried to resist the robbery attempt. He too was shot at twice,” said a senior police officer requesting anonymity.
In the other incident, Jagdish Kumar, a 30-year-old employee of a sugar factory was on Monday robbed at gunpoint by three men while he was on his way to deposit cash at a bank in north-east Delhi.
Police said three men on a motorcycle grabbed him by the collar and held him at the gunpoint, after which, they snatched his bag and escaped.
