With Mumbai terror attacks fresh in mind, an unclaimed packet triggered panic in a south Delhi locality Monday evening but it later turned out to be containing only clothes.

Police was informed after an unclaimed packet was found in Kotla Mubarakpur.

Bomb disposal and dog squads were rushed to the spot which declared that the packet contained nothing but clothes.

"We checked the packet and found there was nothing. The packet was full of clothes," a senior police official said.
