Underground parking at NFC

The MCD on Sunday laid the foundation stone of an underground parking at New Friend’s Colony. The facility, coming up opposite Sarai Julaina village, will benefit mostly those visiting Fortis Hospital and Holy Family Hospital.

The MCD on Sunday laid the foundation stone of an underground parking at New Friend's Colony. The facility, coming up opposite Sarai Julaina village, will benefit mostly those visiting Fortis Hospital and Holy Family Hospital.

Mayor Rajni Abbi said the three-storeyed underground parking would be completed by September 30, 2012, and would accommodate 512 cars. The MCD will develop a green cover on top of the parking lot. The project will cost Rs 40 crore.

She said the construction of the new parking had already started and it would be completed on time. Meanwhile, the MCD is yet to complete the construction of the remaining 40 parking projects.
