Cyber security experts suspect that Iranian hackers forced the US RQ170 Sentinel drone to land in their country. The drone was believed to be on a spy mission over Iranian sky.

“Iranians are working quietly to build up offensive cyber capabilities for quite some time, especially after the Stuxnet and Duqu virus attacks on its nuclear sites in last one year... After these attacks, the Iranians started gearing up their cyber capabilities,” said an ethical hacker on the condition of anonymity. “There are reports that after extracting data from the systems of captured drone, the Iranians will try to reverse engineer the aircraft,” said the source.
