US Prez brings best hi-tech ‘toys’ to Capital

In the next few days, Delhiites would be able to feast their eyes on few of the best gadgets available to humankind — all thanks to US President Barack Obama’s visit.

Among the tech toys would be Obama’s prized Cadillac DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan).

The US President and his men will bring the best cars, hi-tech gizmos and military gear for Obama.

According to sources, Obama’s cavalcade would consist of army Hummers and stretch limousines, among other big cars.

Much before the President’s plane touches down at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, several DC-130 airplanes will bring to the capital tonnes of gear including vehicles and troops for the US President’s visit to the city.

Not only this, the US President cavalcade might bring along not one, but two Air Force Ones — the official plane of the President.

“As far as we know, other than the official presidential vehicle, there would be military-grade vehicles, ambulances and cars being brought to the city for the dignitaries,” said a senior Delhi Police officer on the condition of anonymity, as he was not authorised to speak to the media.

Dream machine Cadillac

Obama’s official ride is every man’s dream car filled with state-of-the-art gadgets. Codenamed Stagecoach, the exact specifications of the car is classified information. The car is believed to be retrofitted in such a way that it can withstand even a rocket launcher and mine attack.

The Cadillac can be driven at over 70 kilometres per hour speed even with four flat tyres. The doors are fitted with secret compartments to hide weapons. The car is connected at all times with the central command centre.

It also has an array of electronic and mobile phone jammers. The car also withstand any sort of electromagnetic pulse attack which can in normal circumstances shut down any electronic gadget.
