The court directed the Delhi Police to place before it the report on the basis of which the Economic Offences Wing (EoW) concluded that no cognisable offence was made against the developer. The detailed report is yet to be submitted.

Denying Nishi Gupta’s allegations in this regard, the firm said it was "baseless, as the project in question does not belong to its MD Punit Beriwala or the company". Beriwala has filed a cross-complaint against Gupta, the firm said.

The company also denied advocate Rohit Kochhar’s allegation that Beriwala defrauded him of R40 lakh for an office premises. The allegation was “completely wrong”, it said. htc
