“The blast was like a bolt from the blue. I was only a few meters away from the blast site – the garbage can. My hands are still trembling. At least one person died and nearly six to seven people were injured. The police were busy challaning people a few minutes before the blast occurred. They should have been more vigilant. ”
Pawan Kamboj, Mayur Vihar

“I saw people bleeding profusely. I guess there were nearly 30-40 people injured.”
Manish, ICICI Bank

“I happen to be in Delhi and now I am really scared. I heard from some sources that terrorists were targeting either Delhi or Bangalore for a blast. It is Delhi now!”
Ganesh Rai, from Bangalore (was on an auto near the blast site with two other persons)

“It was a terrifying scene. I was inside a building when the blast took place. My first reaction was that it was perhaps a thunder accompanied by earthquake.”
Amarpreet Singh, on Barakhamba Road

“I saw five people were injured and one died on the spot. The injured victims were clumsily stowed into an auto. It was a ghastly sight.”

“I was inside my shop when I heard something crash. At first I thought a building on the opposite side of the complex had collapsed. As there was a lot of dust and smoke, I could not see anything clearly. We rushed to the area and then we realised that a blast had taken place. Within minutes, a second blast shook us. We did not even get any time to react.”
Jagjit Singh, shop owner in GK-I M-Block Market
