Where does the beauty industry stand in the India today?
The beauty industry in India is in a nascent stage. A lot needs to be achieved and developed. But an increasing number of students are now opting for a career in beauty. Those years have gone when people thought that those who couldn’t do anything ended up getting in such an offbeat career.

What are the skills required?
Besides being creative, you need to be very patient. You have to be a people’s person. Some people are naturally blessed but I will advise each person to undergo a training course from a well-established institute. It is a skill-based profession and professional training is a must.

What is your advice to young aspirants?
Professional training combined with sincerity and hard work will bring out the best in you. Believe in yourself and have faith in your work.
