CISCE Semester 2, exam 2022 LIVE: Class 12 students find math paper easy

1. Follow Covid guidelines like wearing mask and maintaining social distancing.
2. Sit in the exam hall at least 5 minutes before the papers are distributed.
3. Read the instructions given in the question paper carefully. Use the additional 10 minutes to read the paper. You are not allowed to write during this time. 
4. Put your signature in the space provided on the top sheet of the answer booklet.
5. Write your UID, index number and subject name on the answer booklet and on continuation booklet, loose maps, graph papers etc.
6. Write on both sides of each sheet of the answer booklet. Leave a margin at both the right and left edges.

The duration of the Maths paper is 90 minutes. Candidates will get 10 additional minutes to read the question paper.

1. The maximum marks of the Maths paper will be 40, as per the specimen paper. 
2. There are three sections in the paper. All questions in section A are compulsory and of sections B and C, candidates have to answer only one. 
3. In section A, there are 8 questions and sub-questions for 32 marks and in section B and C, there are 3 questions and 8 sub-questions each carrying 8 marks. 

1. The Physics paper will have a maximum mark of 40, as per the specimen paper provided by the board. 
2. Questions will be divided into two sections.
3. Section A will have 10 questions of 1 marks each, with no internal choice. 
4. Section B will have 3 and 4 marks questions with internal choice. 

The ICSE Physics paper exam will be conducted from 11 am to 12:30 pm and ISC Maths exam is scheduled for 2 pm to 3:30 pm. 

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is conducting ICSE Physics and ISC Maths examinations on Monday, May 9, 2022. 

Ankur Srivastava, Academic Coordinator- Chemistry and RB Singh, Chemistry teacher of LPS Jankipuram said, "It was a very balanced question paper, wherein almost all the important concepts were tested, and simultaneously the difficulty level of the Question paper was also not too high. The language of the Question paper was lucid and clear and thus was easy for the students to comprehend."

Aditya Mukerji another student of LPS South City said, "Overall, a good question paper, was easy and got completed on time."

Anshuman Shukla of LPS Jankipuram said: "Paper level was easy. It was of moderate level wherein some questions were confusing and based on NCERT only."

Kashmeera Gupta, a student of Lucknow Public School,  Jankipuram said, "There were a few questions which were very easy and were directly from the NCERT Book only, barring one-two questions. Overall the paper was moderate."

Dr. Shipra Das, Sanskrit Teacher at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad said the paper was NCERT-based and easy to attempt. It was as per the sample papers and the syllabus provided to the students.

From the student's perspective, they found it very good and were satisfied as the paper was easy and scoring. Students were happy as overall it was a good paper according to them, Das added.

Sharma further said the paper was as per pattern provided by the board. Adequate internal choices were given in each section, which was a great relief to them.

Section A and Section B were easy. Section C of paper was little moderate. Overall, the paper can be said a moderate one, she added.

TDI international school, Chanchal Sharma, PGT Chemistry said that today's paper was quite easy, but a little lengthy though. Students having great knowledge of the syllabus have completed the paper on time. A few questions were easy but were really time-consuming to write step-by-step answers. All the questions were as per the syllabus only and were on the expected lines.

MRG - Ms Ruchi Gupta, Sr. Academic Coordinator said that Chemistry paper was moderate and from the syllabus only. Most of the questions are direct and based on the sample paper issued by CBSE. She further added that the paper required thorough understanding of the concept and present un the NCERT. It has good conceptual and numerical questions. The easy and average questions are in right proportion.

CBSE Chemistry Exam 2022 is over now. Students who have appeared for the exam have found the paper to be easy but confusing. Raghav Malhotra, a student of Class 12 said that the question paper was fine but part A of question No. 12, arrange the compound in their order of its reactivity was confusing.

Another student, Vaibhav found the paper easy as it was set on NCERT pattern and some questions were directly from the NCERT book.

Khushi Mittal and Kshitiz Pratap Singh of Class XII appeared for CBSE 12th Chemistry exam. According to them the numerical from Chemical Kinetics was tricky, but overall the paper was good and we are hopeful of scoring good marks.

Ananya Srivastava, a student of GD Goenka Public School said that the questions of CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Exam were directly from NCERT.

Many students of Class 12 who appeared for the Chemistry paper exam found the difficulty level to be moderate. A Class 12 student of GD Goenka Public School, Aman Goel said that the question paper was not very difficult but few questions were tricky, particularly question No. 9. 

Dr. Shipra Das, Sanskrit Teacher at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad reviewed Sanskrit CBSE paper. According to her point of view,  the paper was NCERT-based and easy to attempt. It was as per the sample papers and the syllabus provided to the students.

Vipul Yadav of Ajit Karam Singh International Public School (AKSIPS) Sector 41, Chandigarh, said that he was able to finish it well ahead of the time limit. "Most emphasis was on physical chemistry which I was able to attempt well. Only a few questions of inorganic chemistry were asked. The questions asked for organic chemistry were also relatively easy," he said.

Akshay, another student from the same school, said that he found the organic chemistry portion a bit hard. He added that attendance seemed to be full at the exam center here.

Samar, a student of Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School in Sector 30, Chandigarh said that the exam was much easier than the sample papers. 

"However an understanding of the topics was required as the questions asked weren't so straightforward," he added.

Students in Chandigarh said that the Chemistry paper was easier than expected, and many  of them were discussing discussing their chances of getting a perfect 35/35 score.

Phaphamau Anurag Yadav Chemistry teacher at Ganga Gurukulam school said that most students with basic concepts of chapters cleared would do well in the Chemistry exam. 

“Nothing was out of syllabus and the questions paper conformed to CBSE pattern. Basic of all chapters were aptly covered in it,” he said. 

Rajeev Goel, another Class 12 student from Prayagraj, said that the question paper was balanced questions were from within the syllabus. “However I think the question number 8 in set-2 had a minor error in its sub parts,” he said.

Another student, Prakhar Pandey of the same school said, “My exam went excellent and I should score well. I found the difficulty level of questions as expected. As the questions were not too tough, I also did not find the question paper lengthy either. 

Raghvendra Singh, Class 12 student of Prayag Public School, Lalgopalganj in Prayagraj said that he found the Chemistry question paper well-balanced and that his exam went very well.

“I did not find the questions to be complicated or requiring too many calculations. The questions were all along expected lines,” he said.
