CBSE Result 2022 Live: Updates on Class 10th, 12th results date, time, websites

The results of Term 1 of the CBSE exams, which were held in November and December of last year, have already released. The CBSE term 2 exam results are awaited.

The CBSE 10th and 12th Class Result 2022 will be made available soon. Students can access their CBSE Result 2022 online once it has been issued at digilocker.gov.in, the official DigiLocker website.

Usually, CBSE announces Class 10 and Class 12 results on different dates but last time, term 1 results were announced together. There is no information yet about how results will be published this time. 

Pass marks in CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams is 33%. For subjects that have both practical and theory, securing at least 33% marks in both is a must. 

As an added security measure, CBSE has decided to introduce security PIN for DigiLocker accounts where students can access their digital academic documents including marksheets, certificates and migration certificates.

Student-wise security pins will be given to schools which will be passed on to individual students by schools.

CBSE will announce term 2 results along with final results (term 1 and 2). The board conducted term 1 exams in November-December last year and results are already out. 

There is no delay in the declaration of CBSE board exam results, news agency ANI has quoted Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as saying. 

Last week, CBSE wrote letters to the governments of Kerala and Tamil Nadu as well as the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), requesting them to extend their admissions deadlines for the upcoming academic year till it releases Class 12 results.

Recently, UGC asked colleges, universities and other higher education institutions not to close their admissions before CBSE Class 12 students so that students get a chance to apply for admissions at these institutes. 

Over 35 lakh students are waiting for CBSE results.

Last week, the CBSE wrote letters of request to the governments of Kerala and Tamil Nadu as well as the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), requesting them to extend their respective admissions procedures for the upcoming academic year till it releases its Class 12 results.

CBSE conducted the class 10th term 2 examination for 29 days and class 12th examination for 51 days.

The number of students who took the Term 1 and Term 2 examinations was around 18 lakh for Class 10 and 16 lakh for Class 12.

As universities and other higher education institutions across the country have started their undergraduate admission process following results of state board exams, CBSE students are worried that they will miss admissions due to non-declaration of their results. To address this, University Grants Commission (UGC) recently wrote to universities not to end admissions before CBSE results.
