Bhavya, who scored 99.6% with 498/500 marks, wants to be an IAS officer and focused on self study, while avoiding social media.
Dishank Jindal of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, and Parth Saini of St Luke’s Senior Secondary School, Solan, both from the non-medical stream and humanities student Rubina Cheema of Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar, were tied at the third rank with 99.4%, scoring 497/500.
Dishank got all-India rank 57 in the recent JEE Main exam, while Parth looks forward to becoming a data scientist.
Rubina, who wants to be a judge, is the daughter of Amandeep Singh Cheema, a farmer of Tarawari village in Karnal, and stayed in the Hisar school hostel.
Rajas Bhatt of Army Public School, Jalandhar, and Vinayka Sharma of Atam Devki Niketan, Ludhiana, emerged toppers in Punjab, scoring 99%.
