CHSE Odisha Class 12 science result 2018 declared, here’s direct link to check

Odisha 12 Science Result 2018: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, announced the result at 11am on chseodisha.nic.in. Of the 95,096 students who had written the examination, 73,211 students(77.98%) passed.

Odisha 12 Science Result 2018: This year, 96,175 students had appeared for the exams. The Council had roped in more than 16,000 teachers to conduct both digital and manual evaluation of the answer papers.

The result of the Class 12 exam in the science stream held by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, was announced on May 19. Nearly 78% of the students who had written the examination between January and March this year cleared the exam. Students can check their result using their exam roll no and date of birth at the following websites: chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in

Of the 95,096 students who had written the examination, 73,211 students(77.98%) passed, school and mass education minister Badrinarayan Patra said while announcing the results here. The examination was conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education. As many as 42,886 boys and 30,325 girls have passed the examination this year.

While 19561 students were placed in first class, 24164 secured second division. This year there were 41 students who scord more than 90 per cent marks.

Nayagarh district recorded the highest pass percentage of 92.23 % while Gajapati was the lowest with 43.4 per cent pass percentage.

The CHSE had conducted the practical and theory exams for Class 12 science stream between January 25 and March 29.

This year, 96,175 students had appeared for the exams. The Council had roped in more than 16,000 teachers to conduct both digital and manual evaluation of the answer papers.

Last year, 81.11% of the 91,007 students who wrote the exam in the science stream had managed to pass.

The results of Class 12 arts and commerce examinations would be declared by the end of this month, said the minister.

Like previous years, 15,000 top students, including 5,000 belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, will get a free laptop under the Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana.

After the declaration of the results, the Council of Higher Secondary Education will prepare a stream-wise list of the meritorious students who would receive the laptops.
